memories don't last, so play into a viking's past.

Find your way through the pieces of Skald’s past in this top-down puzzle story, where normal day to day activities give life to your world with their unique sounds, which might help you complete some puzzles! Pillage items that you find by completing said puzzles and keep them in your inventory, they might come in handy!

In Yggdrasil you play as a witty but melancholic Viking named Skald seeking to recount memories of their homeland, while they follow their mighty raid chief on a quest for new lands, along with their fellow Vikings Vicky and Harald.

features

  • Art: The art featured in Yggdrasil includes 164x144 to 255x156 backgrounds, providing different perspectives on Skald's journey, while the sprites give you a more endearing rendition of the rugged Vikings.
  • Inventory: Your tiny pouch allows you to carry several keys at the same time, and also leave some space for lunch.
  • Musical objects: These objects give life to Skald's imagination.  They produce sound,  which Skald can use to play the tunes from his memories. If the correct sequence is achieved, you will receive an item.
  • Healing herbs: These are items obtained from certain musical objects, which when used on fallen friends, can help reduce their injuries.
  • Keys: They may pop up anywhere! But they will always appear when you need them! To open chests for example.
